Fast Hotel in Lofoten takes sustainability seriously and wants to offer as environmentally friendly a stay as possible for our guests. We use products from Ecolab and Nor-Tekstil, two leading suppliers of sustainable products and services to the hotel industry.<\/p>\n

Ecolab<\/strong> offers innovative solutions for cleaning and hygiene that reduce water consumption, energy consumption and waste.<\/p>\n

Nor-Tekstil<\/strong> supplies high-quality textiles, processed at swan-labeled<\/span><\/a><\/strong> vaskerier. Minimal water consumption and where detergents are used which should have the least possible impact on the environment.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Saving water and energy<\/h3>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

We have installed energy-saving showers in all rooms to reduce water consumption. This saves both water and energy, and contributes to a more sustainable operation. In addition, we use automatic* control of heating to optimize energy consumption. (*Fast Hotel Svolv\u00e6r, comes to Fast Hotel Lofoten og Fast Hotel Henningsv\u00e6r soon). <\/p>\n

To minimize water and chemical consumption, we only clean the rooms on departure. If you want to have towels and bed linen changed more often or need cleaning of your room during your stay, please contact our service-office.<\/a><\/strong><\/span> <\/p>\n

We want our guests to participate in our ongoing work and commitment to increased sustainability. You can for example contribute by: <\/p>\n

  • Take shorter showers. <\/li>\n\t
  • Hang towels to dry instead of sending them to wash. <\/li>\n\t
  • Use the stairs instead of the elevator. <\/li>\n\t
  • Turn off the lights when you leave the room. <\/li>\n\t
  • Deposit your empty plastic bottles and aluminum cans (example: mineral water etc) in vending machines in grocery stores or put them in our \u201cbottle\u201d containers that are placed in the hotel. These are sent for recycling. <\/li>\n\t
  • Use public transport when traveling in Lofoten.<\/li>\n<\/ul><\/p>\n
